Seed Funding for Pilot Studies in Precision Home Visiting
Innovation toward Precision Home Visiting is a new HARC initiative. It aims to transform the field of home visiting by using innovative methods to build the evidence base for precision home visiting.
As part of this initiative, we will be funding short-term pilot studies focused on differentiation of what works—for whom and in what contexts—for home visiting practices to achieve specific outcomes. These studies will focus on the active ingredients of home visiting services and engage program partners as collaborators in the research process.
Each award will be approximately $25,000. Studies should be able to be completed in 12 to 15 months, with the expectation that results will act as preliminary evidence and a springboard for expanded study of the topic of interest.
