At the heart of HARC’s work is our practice-based research network (PBRN).  HARC PBRN members engage in collaborative, field-initiated studies to move home visiting forward. The PBRN is designed to bring together programs and researchers to answer the types of questions those running home visiting programs have about their own practice.

HARC membership is open to all who have an interest in home visiting: all staff at home visiting programs, leaders of state and local networks, model implementers, researchers, families enrolled in home visiting, and friends of HARC.  To become a HARC member, you only need to fill out a short enrollment survey.

There are many benefits for HARC members:

  • Opportunities to participate in research studies of interest to you (all research studies are reviewed and approved by our HARC Council)
  • Being among the first to learn about research findings from our studies
  • Opportunities to propose studies and work alongside researchers to help develop their ideas
  • An invitation to our annual meeting
  • Our monthly newsletter, the HARC Herald, full of news about home visiting research
  • Special interest groups participation – connect with others interested in similar ideas or similar topics related to early childhood home visiting to connect
  • Informing the future of the field!
